Full – Time – 36 hours per week
Starting Date: To be filled in August.
Special Qualifications: The Communications Coordinator (CC) will elevate WCMCAA’s and New Growth CDC’s media profile by supporting the development and execution of communications strategy. The CC will have a primary responsibility for producing and advancing digital media, from video and graphics to web and social media posts. This position will work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop and share stories to broaden and deepen the impact of the Agency’s programs and to increase community awareness of Agency programs. Must be self-motivated with a proven track record of digital media production, marketing and/or communication. Must have experience in developing high quality written content for different communication channels with success in producing, and/or ability to produce, press releases, videos, desktop and/or online publishing, and website and social media maintenance, as well as the ability to speak effectively with the public.
Some post-secondary education with credits in Journalism, Communications, Non-Profit Management or Business Administration preferred. Two years of related experience, along with a High School Diploma or GED required.
Salary/Wage: $18.70 per hour
