FULL TIME– 36 hours per week      HOURLY WAGE/SALARY:  $5000- $5210/mo

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:    The Chief Community Wealth Building Officer (CCWBO) is responsible for facilitating progress towards sustainable family economic security and rural economic development by focusing on individual/family credit building initiatives, loan fund development for individuals and families, community economic development, entrepreneurship, small business expansion, and regional business loan funds and other financial services programs.  The CCWBO will have oversight of the New Growth CDC(s) including the Women’s Business Center, Business Training Services, the Loan Fund/CDFI, Regional Planning activities, and Grant Development, and will support the efforts of Food Systems and Transportation Programs.

Position requires enthusiasm and the ability to understand community and economic development concepts, and the economic climate of rural Missouri, and to incorporate this understanding into daily activities.  Will be a self-starter who enjoys working independently on daily activities while simultaneously working on behalf of a coalition or partnership.  Must have the ability to nurture visionary ideas and meaningful innovations within the CDC(s) and the partnerships.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:A degree in business administration, economic development, entrepreneurship or social enterprise, or in lieu thereof, substantial experience in regional planning or economic development and/or financial services programs is required.
