RESPONSIBILITIES:  The FSS Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, evaluating and overseeing the Family Self-Sufficiency program.  They will provide coaching to program participants, conduct needs assessments, provide referrals to services and trainings, and help participants stay on track to achieve their goals.  The FSS Coordinator also maintains program records, builds partnerships with service providers, and reports on program outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:   The successful candidate will be a positive team player with excellent people skills; have the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude while motivating and influencing others.

Computer knowledge/skills and demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and direct activities and services.  Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

The position requires at least one day in working from the TTCCC (Training & Technical Center of Cass County) in Belton MO.

Minimum two years of college education in social science, counseling, or other closely related field and one year of related experience or high school diploma/equivalency; and three years of hands-on experience in supportive services coordination, counseling, or economic self-sufficiency services.

DETAILS:  This is a full time position working 36 hours per week at the Appleton City or Raymore office locations.

Salary:  $3120/exempt.  Starting date:  September 1, 2023.  Months of experience required: 36.  Application deadline: open until position is filled.  Grade: 5
