HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) OWNER SPECIALIST

Location:  Raymore or Appleton City

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The HCV Owner Specialist performs a wide range of duties related to non-contractual and contractual relationships with the owners. The Specialist will be responsible for following written administrative plan policies and standard operating procedures provided by the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) administration.

REQUIREMENTS:   This position requires full accountability including, but not limited to, responsiveness to program owners, accurate, complete files, and resolution of owner’s breach of contract.

A strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.

Strong personal computer skills, mathematical abilities, interpreting regulations and policies are also required.

The successful candidate will be a positive team player with excellent people skills.  Have the ability to communicate and work professionally with all supervisors, clients, and co-workers with a positive attitude.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in assisted housing, social service, supported services or another related field.

DETAILS:  This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week at either Raymore or Appleton City.  Wage: $15/hourly.  Starting date:  12/15/2022.
