WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES: The main responsibility of the Workforce Solutions Coordinator will be to help the participant with opportunities to gain skills, training or experience that will improve their ability to attain employment and decrease their dependence on public assistance programs. The WSC will assist the Workforce Solutions Director and other Community Services personnel in a variety of duties within the workforce programs.
Computer and internet research skills and ability to handle sensitive agency/participant information in a confidential manner.
Working knowledge of Case Management principles and ability to do individual and group counseling related to career goals.
Be a positive team player with excellent people skills. Have the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude.
High School Diploma or GED is required. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
DETAILS: This is a full time position working 36 hours per week. Hourly wage: $18.70. Starting date: ASAP.
