RESPONSIBILITIES: The Inspections Coordinator plans, organizes, and implements the St. Clair County Public Housing Authority’s (PHA) National Standards for the Physical Inspections of Real Estate (NSPIRE) inspections to ensure dwelling units meet the standards by physically inspecting rental units. Conducts rent comparability study of unit rents and market availability of units.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years’ experience or education in rental assistance program inspections, housing construction techniques, general carpentry, plumbing, and other aspects of single home and multi-family dwellings.
Must obtain an NSPIRE certification within 180 days of employment. Prefer applicant has a Housing Quality Inspections and/or an NSPIRE certification.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to learn and use a variety of software applications including unit specific software.
Be a positive team player with excellent people skills. Have the ability to communicate and work professionally
with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude while motivating and influencing others.
DETAILS: Wage: $22 /hr. This is a full time position working 36 hours per week based out of the Raymore office.
