United Way Impact 100
Another Year of Impact – United Way Announces 2025 Impact 100 Agencies
West Central Missouri Community Action Agency is honored to be named once again to the United Way of Greater Kansas City’s Impact 100 list. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to addressing critical community needs and creating positive change across the region.

Each Impact 100 organization will receive unrestricted funding from United Way, empowering them to allocate resources where they are needed most to further their missions. This approach underscores United Way’s commitment to trust-based philanthropy, recognizing that organizational leaders are best positioned to determine how to utilize funds effectively.
“We are proud and happy to continue this partnership,” said Jamie Oberly, Chief Community Services Officer of West Central. “United Way’s support enables us to expand our reach and deepen our impact, particularly in Cass County.”
The unrestricted funding from United Way’s Impact 100 initiative allows West Central to allocate resources where they are needed most. In Cass County, these funds support various projects, including assistance for the Raymore Food Pantry, ensuring that families have access to essential resources.
The 2025 Impact 100 encompasses a diverse array of organizations serving all six counties in the Greater Kansas City area. Their collective efforts aim to improve health outcomes, enhance youth opportunities, foster financial stability, and build resilient communities. Notably, this year’s list includes 20 new organizations, such as AcruxKC, Bridge Leadership Academy, Cancer Action, Inc., and Community Health Council of Wyandotte County, reflecting United Way’s ongoing commitment to evolving community needs and inclusive support.
