Building Pathways to Work and Home: Expanding Affordable Housing for Stronger Communities
Access to stable, affordable housing is fundamental to workforce success and family well-being. Without housing options near jobs, schools, healthcare, and essential services, workers face significant barriers to employment and economic stability. Our focus group is committed to addressing these challenges by bringing together key stakeholders to assess local housing needs, identify development opportunities, and drive actionable solutions.
Through strategic collaboration with governments, developers, and property owners, we aim to expand affordable housing options in targeted areas, ensuring that workers and their families have access to secure, well-located homes. Our goal is to increase affordable housing availability by 20% within key regions, prioritizing developments that support employment access and essential community services. By forming a dedicated housing task force, we will lead efforts to create sustainable, long-term solutions that strengthen both the workforce and the community.
This initiative is not just about housing—it is about creating the conditions necessary for economic growth, stability, and opportunity for all.
